As Pictet AM’s needs are growing, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Investment Risk & Performance team, which is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Risk & Performance applications used by risk and portfolio managers. Our team works mainly on the backend (Spring, JPA, and RabbitMQ) and can become involved in setting up AWS applications.

Your role

  • Working as a member of a team of Tech specialists and finance professionals.
  • Analysing and implementing new features of risk analysis and performance measurement applications.
  • Providing support during production incidents.
  • Actively participating in the chapter community, suggesting technical upgrades and initiatives to reduce technical debt.
  • Playing an active part in different Agile ceremonies.

Your profile

  • Strong knowledge of Java programming language.
  • Good knowledge on Spring frameworks (core, boot, etc.), Hibernate/JPA, messaging system, Rest services and SQL language.
  • Experience with AWS, Python, React would a plus.
  • Willingness to develop your skills in both the technical and finance fields.
  • Strong team player, capable of building positive and collaborative relationships with all Pictet AM teams and providers.
  • Good command of French and English, together with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
